I’m so glad you’re over here on wordpress blogging. It’s so much easier than myspace. You are a great writer and I can’t wait to read more…it is so cool that you are not only moving forward, but your writing is reaching out and helping others too. Many more read and are touched than you’ll ever know…
Learning about ourselves is one of the best accomplishments one can obtain. It is better to have accomplished this than obtaining any university degree. Many people search for meaning and purpose in life through education. It is when we realize we are created in the image and likeness of God, to have a relationship with him that the true education begins. Keep on doing the hard stuff. You will be thankful you did.
Hey Melissa!
You are a good writer with thought provoking stuff! You’re saying out loud what most of us either have or are wrestling with! Thanks!

Discovering who you are, what God has hardwired into you is a lifetime adventure. When I was young, the number 1 driving force in my life was the acceptance of others…as I get older I am constantly surprised when I discover something new about myself and then to embrace it. I picture we as individuals just like flowers (1 peter 1:24) in the garden of God’s world….he has made each of us different…you may be a daisy, I may be a purple wild coneflower. They’re different, look different, may prefer different settings to thrive, mature @ different times,..we glorify him when we embrace our uniqueness and run with it (my opinion)…You mention you are a nursing student….there are so many awesome possibilites that God might do with that…don’t be afraid to be open to follow your heart as you complete that training….
Thanks for the comment on my blog. This is an amazing journey you’re on and thank you for sharing it with all of us. Enjoy the ride!!!
Hi Melissa, I think I like your take on life; fun, spunky and full of compassion. I will definitely love reading and in the process, learning more about you.
